Silver Medal Winner of the 2024 Virginia Governor's Cup
30% Malbec, 30% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. This Rosé is dry, crisp, and refreshing with lively acidity and flavors of tart fruit and citrus. Pair with fresh vegetables, soft cheeses, or a Salad Nicoise.
44% Merlot, 27% Malbec 17% Petit Verdot, 12 % Nebbiolo. Saignée - from the French word for “bleeding” is a traditional winemaking method in which juice is drained from red grapes in the early stages of fermentation. Aged exclusively in stainless steel, this wine is wildly expressive and juicy, offering notes of black cherry pit, rose petal, and strawberry. Thanks to extended contact with red grape skins, it carries a distinctive spicy-savory edge, with nuanced flavors of pink peppercorn and dried cranberry that are drawn out through its tannic finish. Enjoy with Korean BBQ, pork bulgogi or roasted beet & burrata salad.
This isn’t your typical pale pink patio rosé. Saignée (French for “to bleed”) is made by gently “bleeding off” juice from red wine during fermentation. That little bit of skin contact gives the wine more depth, color, and complexity than a traditional rosé. Instead of delicate and floral, you’ll find richer fruit, a hint of spice, and a fuller mouthfeel that might just surprise you.
It’s a style that sits playfully between red and rosé—unexpected, a little bolder, and always fun to explore.
