2022 Scarlet
Made from 65% Cabernet Franc, 30% Merlot, and 5% Malbec using the traditional pigeage or grape stomping method for macerating the berries. When fermentation was half complete, the clusters were pressed and the wine aged in a barrel for 6 months. Candied, dried strawberries on the nose and flavors of watermelon on the palate. This is a lovely dark Rosé that can be chilled or left at room temperature. Pairs well with roasted pork and venison.
