2021 Chere Marie
This off-dry wine resembles a German-style Reisling. Vibrant fruit flavors are balanced with bright acidity. Pairs nicely with spicy and saltier foods. This is considered a sweeter wine with around 2%-2.5% residual sugar. Refreshing and not cloying due to the pleasant acidic finish.
Chere Marie is pronounced "share Marie" and means "dear Marie." Marie is the matriarch of the Breaux family as she is the mother of Paul Breaux, the owner of Breaux Vineyards. Vidal Blanc is the hybrid grape that put Canada on the world map as a high quality producer of wines. Vidal Blanc, like Seyval Blanc, can produce a very nice wine even in cold temperatures.
